Tools: Sketchbook, Pencil

Just a simple drawing of a girl I made last year :)

I'm so annoyed, now later when you been taking a break from the drawing I see all these "issues" and I just want to fix them but can't.. cause it is made on paper haha

Ah well, can't help it I'm just a perfectionist and brain keeps learning..

I can barely watch my old drawings at all cause I see everything wrong with them and cry abit on the inside.. but hey that's a good thing I guess, so I can do better next time.. maybe. :P

Merry Christmas!

So here is this years Christmas Card!
I have been thinking for many weeks what I wanted to do this year, browsing different ideas online etc. I had many ideas I wanted to do and then all sudden it was December already.. and not enough time for my big ideas hehe. Like always..

When I was just about to start drawing I browsed through my blog and I saw this panda girl drawing I did this summer and for some reason she just screamed at me "Draw me! I know I look abit like panda right now but I love to dress up and I want a Christmas suit, please?" and yeah.. was impossible to ignore the idea once it got there hehe

When you do art it never ends up with that you first had in mind. ;)

OC Portrait commission of Audion

Tools: Easy Paint Tool Sai, Wacom Bamboo Manga

I thought this commission would be fast and easy but somehow I just couldn't stop myself for working longer on it. So it took a couple of days extra but the customer didn't mind he got more than what he asked for, he was pleased with the result and that makes me happy!

Even with a good reference I just find this angle.. challenging. It was a good practise and it was really outside my comfort zone but it is there we learn right?

I still think something is looking "off" but I can't put my finger on it, maybe I will see it in a year like with all my other artworks. ;)

Short facts about Jiwe: Heroin addict, extremely skinny, short hair, battered, tomboy and not shy.

I must say that it is not easy to draw short hair and facial expressions.. so I know what I have to practise on.
It is suppose to have this flirty "How are you doing?" kind of face and I have no clue if I managed to pull it off or not.
She was also suppose to look very skinny and battered but to be honest I was scared to "ruin" the drawing so.. let's just say she had a good day! :D
